  1. This Thursday, February 3, is OA Chapter Meeting at 7:30 PM at the LDS Church.  All OA members are encouraged to attend.
  2. Next Monday, February 7, is OA elections.  All OA members need to wear their OA sash.
  3. A SPL and the ASPL's will be elected also.  Scouts who want to run for an office need to fill out the Scout "Leadership Position Application" found on the website in "Troop Documents."
  4. After the elections next Monday, campout planning for the Spring Creek Park campout, which is on the following Saturday.
  5. The next scheduled board of review is Wednesday, February 16.
  6. Monday, February 14, is the troop workday from 4-6pm.
  7. February 21 is Court of Honor.  Anyone wanting to work on Communication Merit Badge, please contact Mrs. Wallace.
  8. This Sunday, February 6, and Sunday, February 20, the troop will unload the trailers for the LUMC garage sale. This will count as service hours.

  1. The recharter fee of $75.80 was due at the troop meeting to Mrs. Moore.
  2. Merit Badge Fair will be this Saturday, January 29, from 9am to 11am at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
  3. First Aid meet will be held on the same day at the same place that afternoon.
  4. All scouts who plan on going to high adventure summer camp at Sid Richardson need to make a deposit to Mr. Strain.
  5. For all scouts interested in becoming a Den Chief, there will be a training course at the University of Scouting on February 5.
  6. At the February 7 Troop Meeting, there will be OA elections.  The SPL and ASPLs will be elected, also.
  7. The SPL will appoint the other officers.  All scouts interested in running for a position needs to fill out a form and return it to Mr. Piwonka.
  8. February 11 is the Arrow of Light ceremony.  February 11-13 is the Spring Creek Park campout.
  9. Mulch sales are due on February 15.  February 19 is mulch delivery.
  10. February 26 is JLTC.  All officers are required to attend.  Scouts who attended NYLT will teach the course.

  3. Goose Island State Park campout is Jan. 14-16.
  4. Jan. 24 is the next board of review.

  8. Feb. 11-13 is tentatively planned for the Spring Creek Park Campout/ Webelos II Arrow of Light.
  9. Feb. 15- mulch sales due.  Feb. 20- mulch sale delivery.

  1. For the Perdernales campout this weekend:
    • Lunch must be eaten on the trail.
    • Dinner must be dutch-oven or open flame cooking (silver turtles, hamburgers, cobbler, steaks, fajitas).
    • Backpacking- if there are enough scouts or adults.
  2. PLC next Monday, December 13, at 6:30 pm.  All patrol leaders and officers need to attend.
  3. The next meeting, January 3, will be much sales kickoff.
  4. On January 29, Merit Badge fair will be in the morning, and First Aid Meet will be in the afternoon.

  1. Scouts who attended the meeting completed the fingerprinting merit badge.  Mr. Moser talked about Philmont 2005.
  2. Next troop meeting, Dec. 6, will be Pedernales Falls campout planning.  If enough scouts are interested, there will be high adventure for the campout.
  3. It will also be dutch oven cooking contest.  Scouts can arrive a earlier to help.
  4. Flag ceremony- Rats, Set up- T-birds, Skit- Wildcats, Game- Donuts.
  5. Citizenship in the World mbis set to begin in after Christmas holiday.

  1. At the meeting, the troop voted on summer camp.  They decided on attending Sid Richardson near the end of June.
  2. The next meeting on the 29th will be the fingerprinting merit badge workshop.  Scouts can get their DNA and fingerprints.  All siblings are welcome to attend.
  3. The Pedernales Falls State Park campout will be Dec. 10-12, the second weekend in December.  The troop will split up into high-adventure and base camp.  High adventure, first class or higher, will backpack.  Base camp will do the five mile hike for anyone who needs that requirement.
  4. The Spring Creek Park campout, which was originally planned for February 11-13, will be moved back with the cub scout Arrow of Light ceremony.  It will affect the Troop JLTC, planned for the weekend after it.

  1. On Nov. 15, the last meeting before Thanksgiving, Cory will have the sign-up sheet for the Citizenship in the World class.  Mrs. Paluska will teach this class.
  2. Donuts - flag ceremony, Panthers - set up, Rats - skit, T-birds - team building activity.
  3. The program feature will be "Leave No Trace".
  4. The troop will vote on summer camp between the two camps that were narrowed down, Sid Richardson and Slippery Falls.
  5. On Nov. 29, the program feature will be fingerprinting.

  7. This meeting will be the Citizenship in the World kickoff.
  8. The Dec. 6 troop meeting will be campout planning for Perdenales Falls.  I think the troop was planning to make cobbler after the short campout planning.
  9. Rats - flag ceremony, T-Birds - set-up, Wildcats - skit, Donuts - team-building activity
  10. Jenson, the chaplain, asked the troop to drop prayer requests into the prayer box at the scout hut.
