STEVIE BERRYMAN is our Director of Adult and Children's Hand Bells, overseeing the Chancel Hand Bell Choir for adults and the TLC Chimes, our children's hand bell group.  She graduated summa cum laud from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Letters and a minor in Latin.  While in college, she served as the Small Group Coordinator and Graduate Intern at the Wesley Foundation, as well as a children’s choir director at McFarlin United Methodist Church in Norman.  Stevie currently rings with the Houston Bronze Ensemble, Houston’s only professional, auditioned hand bell choir.  When not in rehearsal, she is a professional quilter. She has served in churches around the country in a variety of ways, including Director of Christian Education, Pre-School Director, and Hand Bell Choir Director.  Stevie and her husband, Paul, have two young children, Evan and Portia.

ERIN CARLYLE is our Nursery Coordinator, having joined the staff in April 2008.  She has a degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Early Childhood from Sam Houston State University, and was a Kindergarten teacher for six years (and loved every minute of it!). As our Nursery Coordinator, she hopes to give the youngest attendees of our church a terrific introduction to the love of God.  She strives for the nursery to be an exciting, comfortable, safe environment with a caring, friendly atmosphere that children and their parents are eager to return to each week.  She and her husband Jeff have been married since 1998 and have two children, Callie and Jackson.  They have been members of LUMC since 2002.

BETTY CHRISTIAN has served as the Director of Student Ministries at Lakewood since the fall of 1989. Betty and her husband, Tommy, have a real passion for working with teenagers.
